New Address, Same Ole Family

Well, its official. The Team Bedard has made its way to the great, beautiful, picturesque city of Abilene, TX. We have been here a little over a week and so far so good. We even have almost all our things unpacked. Cade is loving his new home and all the room to roam. His first birthday is coming up soon. We just got our internet going so we should be back in the blogging business soon. This one is short but there will be many more to come. We miss all our Virginia friends!!

WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!! We just found out this week. Mom and baby are doing great. Cade is very excited!! And this is our last week in Virginia. We have lived here for 8 years and it has be great. Mindy and Cade fly to Texas one week from today (Sunday). I will follow in the U-Haul and arrive in Abilene on Friday the 2nd.

We are very sad to leave such great friends behind. We have had great experiences and we cherish all the relationship we have made. We are also excited to start a new phase of life as I (Chris) will be headed back to school to pursue a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. We will keep the blog going so you can see what adventures we can get into!!

Well today Mindy discovered Cade had a new trick. She was in the kitchen cooking away and noticed that Cade was no where to be found. She looked down and didn't see him playing on the floor beside her. He had discovered a new play area. The pictures are priceless.

Well here is our new addition in black and white. He/She was really active but the technician did a great job getting a profile shot. We are very excited to find out if its a boy or girl!!
